The weekly recap: June 8

In addition to a busy week right here on the ol’ OnBase Blog, we had a lot going on elsewhere.

Here’s the lowdown.

The Hyland Blog

  • Are you scared of ghosts? In this case, you shouldn’t be.

Sharing her experiences as a newlywed, a homeowner, and now an expectant mother, Amanda Ulery talks about how the ghosts of case management solutions haunt her – apparitions of improved service, better visibility, and less paperwork.

To learn more, join us for our case management webinar on June 12 @ 2:00 p.m. EDT.

  • Whether you’re on the business or IT side of the house, equipping yourself with the knowledge you need to make recommendations for your organization’s digital transformation is key, notes Judy Mann.

Start by determining your most pressing goals, whether that’s streamlining processes to increase efficiency, consolidating a sprawling application landscape, or improving ever-important customer experiences. Then, come to CommunityLIVE.

  • Ah, Spain. Reading Amy Oliver’s post about attending HIMSS Europe makes you feel like you’re there.

Check it out to see what Amy learned at the conference, and what’s coming next to healthcare. Hint: Health 2.0.

Hyland news

  • London-based Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) is one of the world’s top pediatric hospitals. But you don’t get to be the best without constant improvement.

That’s why GOSH is using OnBase to integrate with its technology investments.

The seamless integration allows clinicians to take new photos and videos, fill out electronic forms, capture digital signatures, and complete deficiencies from a tablet or laptop in any location, all of which immediately associate with the appropriate patient record in Epic. This provides clinicians access to the most current and relevant clinical information, helping them respond with the most complete picture of every patient.
