Hyland named one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For 2017

For the fourth-consecutive year, Hyland has been named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list. Woo hoo!

We’ve been on quite a roll lately, as we were recently named a Leader in the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management (ECM). Gartner recognized us as a Leader for the seventh-consecutive year for our completeness of vision and our ability to execute.

When you walk the halls here at Hyland – in any of the three buildings at our global headquarters or our offices around the world – you can feel the pride of these accomplishments.

And it’s amazing when important analysts and publications consistently recognize us at this level.

We’re also proud to make this list because it backs up the “can-do” message we convey to potential employees and prospective customers. In fact, Fortune determines the companies it names to the annual list by taking what employees have to say about their employers into account. It bases two-thirds of the award process on that feedback alone!

There is no more genuine way that represents how our solutions empower people with instant access to information than the words of our customers and the voices of our employees. They are the true mark of our culture.

We have Hylanders to thank for our place on the Fortune 100 list. Their responses to the survey conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute are the reason we continue to make this coveted list. We’re nothing without the contributions that our employees have made to this company. And it takes the dedication of each and every employee to create a culture we are proud of and recognized for!

As this list indicates, we have much to celebrate. But here at Hyland, we don’t spend too much time celebrating the past, because we’re busy becoming an even better place to work, helping our customers and continuing to be involved in the community.

Every day is different here and there’s always something new to learn. That’s why maintaining a supportive, collaborative environment through change continues to be one of our top priorities. The attitude and ownership of making Hyland a great place to work has to be top of mind for everyone each day they come to work to achieve this accomplishment.

Going the extra mile

Over the last 25 years, we’ve been able to consistently grow, while still managing to stay uniquely “us.” We like to think it’s because our core values have always included treating employees as family and customers as partners.

Kathleen Vegh works in the Human Resources department at Hyland as the employee engagement manager, a position she’s held since 2008. In her role, she leads a team that is responsible for attracting and retaining top IT talent within the Northeast Ohio region by working to strengthen employee relationships and create a positive work environment with happy, healthy and engaged employees. An Ohio University graduate, she lives in Bay Village with her husband Dave and daughters Hannah and Clare.
