Standing shoulder to shoulder with SingHealth
If you walk into any Hyland building you will see a large sign displaying the five Hyland Core Values. One of the core values is “Our customers are our partners.” Additionally, our ID badges carry a more detailed explanation of that value:
We approach each business relationship with the mindset that all parties involved have a common goal and we will reach that goal faster working in collaboration as partners. We approach technical and business hurdles ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with our partners and reject failure as an option. We share our ideas and knowledge to the benefit of the partnership as a whole.
Signs of success
Last week, we won an award for that value. Not to brag, but we win a lot of awards here at Hyland. However, this is the most important kind, because it came from a customer.
SingHealth in Singapore awarded us the Enterprising Partner Award. The healthcare provider honored us for our commitment to being a partner in its success.
SingHealth noted our commitment to working with it to solve a problem. This is part of our DNA, so when the organization asked for assistance, we dug in to help identify the problem. When it turned out that there wasn’t any issue with our software, we continued to help identify a solution anyway.
We were with SingHealth “shoulder to shoulder,” because failure is not an option. Ever.
SingHealth also noted our commitment to sustained regular communication and our effort to help it extend the value of its solution beyond the initial expectations. We were happy to help, because sharing our ideas and knowledge benefits the partnership, which ultimately helps SingHealth provide better care. And finally, we helped the organization achieve purposeful networking with similar organizations that share the same goals, concerns and problems – all in an effort to help everyone be successful.
Yes, we win lots of awards here at Hyland. In fact, just in the last month, we received awards like the Fortune 100 Best Places to Work, No. 1 for Document Management and Imaging from KLAS and the 2017 Best Channel Vendor by Business Solutions magazine.
But the award from SingHealth is going to sit on the top shelf of our trophy case.
