Come see us at the Federal Health IT Solutions Pavilion at #HIMSS17
The sizable Federal Health IT Solutions Pavilion at #HIMSS17 shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. The federal government’s vast healthcare system, as both a provider and payer, makes it the single largest buyer of Healthcare IT in the United States. Also, HIMSS is one of the largest healthcare events of the year.
Meanwhile, both the DoD and civilian agencies are looking to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions to solve their wide-reaching Healthcare IT needs, as both are making substantial investments in modernizing their healthcare systems.
While the federal government is seriously upping its healthcare IT game across the board, the Defense Health Agency has identified enterprise content management (ECM) as a strategic objective in its Long-Range Technical Architecture strategy.
As an industry leader for ECM, and a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, Hyland has successfully created a single access point for patient data through the OnBase enterprise information platform. We accomplish this by uniting unstructured content with the data in electronic health record (EHR) systems and electronic resource planning (ERP) solutions for some of the largest health systems in the world.
Better info access = better care
With the enablement of better care the ultimate goal, this starts by providing access to critical health information when and where it is needed. We accomplish this by offering solid health information management and clinical content strategies and solutions.
Our Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) enables organizations to store all content across departments in its native format in a single archive. As a result, providers have secure access to all clinical and administrative information, and are able to strategically manage comprehensive patient content within the EHR.
Additionally, the OnBase Patient Window (OPW) solution enables providers to see anything from clinical documents to endoscopic studies in context within electronic medical records. OPW would be helpful to DoD IT experts working on the new Cerner EHR as well as the departments that will be advancing the VA’s VistA. (Yes, the tech world loves acronyms.)
Please come find me at #HIMSS17 to further discuss your agency’s needs for ECM solutions and enterprise information platform technology. I’ll be spending most of my time in the Federal Healthcare IT Solutions Pavilion, or answering questions and having discussions in booth 1379.
