What happens in Vegas … makes better government solutions #CommunityLive

In September, more than 2,000 people will converge in Vegas for CommunityLIVE, Hyland’s annual conference for its end users. This year, like every year, there will be a strong contingent of government OnBase users driving efficiency in their states, counties and cities with the solutions they have developed.

CommunityLIVE doesn’t just have a lot of attendees, it is a giant menu of choices with technical, product, case study and advanced training tracks to consider. With more than 350 sessions, expert stations, multiple days, great speakers and a lot of walking, you could be forgiven for missing some of the great moments.

To help avoid that, here’s my list of events and experiences to see (and reasons make sure you are there):

  • Innovation

Government innovation will be on display with the 2017 edition of the Government Innovation Awards. Three finalists will present their WorkView Case Management solutions and invite attendees to decide the winner amongst solutions for legal departments, FOIA requests and more.

These solutions are great examples for your own agency to embrace.

  • The present and the future

There will be a unique mix of sessions presented by your peers about government solutions that are in place as well as great product sessions covering OnBase 17 and all of its enhancements, improvements and new features. These sessions at CommunityLIVE show the present in the form of great government solutions and the future improvements you’ll need to continue to deliver the solutions government needs.

  • Sessions of all sizes

There’s nothing like an action-packed general session that might have jugglers, dancers, rock music and more. CommunityLIVE will start with a big, energetic session but you might find that the best moments are in small groups, like the peer networking hosted by the Government VOGUE (user group) on Tuesday.

Big groups are energizing and small groups are supportive, insightful and full of the best practices that make your solutions deploy faster and better. No matter which you prefer, there are plenty of both this year.

  • Experts

CommunityLIVE is full of experts. From the Hylanders at the expert stations featuring capture, GIS, Agenda, Public Records, Plan Review and ShareBase solutions to user experts who will be presenting best practices in the sessions. Everywhere you look, there are opportunities to discuss, learn and brainstorm your next OnBase project.

The great thing about government end users is that they share their solutions, expertise and practical advice. These are all very valuable to OnBase administrators who have trouble keeping up with the workload and demands in government.

This is only a small sample of the possibilities waiting for you at CommunityLIVE. If you haven’t registered yet, consider the potential of the above experiences and join us.

Faster, better and more impactful OnBase government solutions are sure to result.
