It’s our last day at CommunityLIVE. We’ve traded stories, advice, business cards and high fives. We’ve refreshed our acquaintances with our fellow government OnBase users, been inspired to take our own solutions enterprise and discovered even more things to do with our technology investments.

How do we end on a high note? With the latest and greatest and a competition for bragging rights, that’s how.

After two days of end user-led sessions, we turn the tables and hear from Hylanders about the newest OnBase solutions. The common threads? They show that Hyland is always developing solutions that meet the trends and needs of government.

Driving innovation to meet government needs

Whether it is an agenda and minutes solution that engages constituents, a plan review solution that plays well with your Cityworks permitting solution or front-end, web-based options that will drive self-service, today’s the day to hear the latest and greatest ways to use our solutions in government. The fact that this innovation can be driven by investment in a single platform is comforting to stretched IT staff. And today’s sessions represent ways to stretch your investment to new departments to meet new challenges.

At this point, your brain on CommunityLIVE will be exploding with all the possibilities our solution suite offers. How do you pick what to do next?

Rewarding innovation

Attend the 2016 edition of the Government Innovation Awards and help select the best OnBase Workflow solution.

Just a warning, it won’t be easy. Representatives from the Houston Airport System, the State of Nebraska and Cook County, IL’s Assessor’s Office will be facing off with solutions that combine workflow management, web-based electronic forms and more to change the very nature of government business process.

And, since these projects are constituent-facing while making internal process more efficient, they have improved services and the lives of the government staff performing those tasks.

Some have said that government is not innovative. Thursday at CommunityLIVE – 2:15 p.m. in Sun A – will prove that isn’t true, not for us and not for the competitors in this year’s Innovation Awards. With OnBase, innovation is a given for its government end users and a requirement for the team at Hyland as they develop and continually improve our platform and its solutions.
