It’s Wednesday, do you need OnBase glue? Govies at #CommunityLIVE
How do you measure the success of a technology project? What strategies are you using to bring in new departments and users? How can a single platform meet the needs of so many government departments?
It’s Wednesday at CommunityLIVE and I am thinking about how OnBase can be the glue that binds together the many solutions that are needed or required by government staff. Every governmental department has one or more solutions that are essential for their programs and mission, or required by their funders. These solutions gather data but they don’t tell the whole story of government work and typically they offer no way to automate work or reduce the number of tasks that staff face.
This is where OnBase comes in.
One platform, unlimited potential
Imagine one platform that is a constant for all staff. A single platform for IT to support that gives you a secure central repository, mobile and remote access and the ability to integrate with the many solutions government agencies require. And, since this solution eliminates the filing, printing, copying and storing of the many files that government must have, that’s a game changer.
Wednesday at CommunityLIVE is all about OnBase as an enterprise platform that stores all of the information government needs, but serves it up in way that makes sense for each unique and busy government department. Government end users from several organizations will be presenting their stories today. These are stories of success because they represent brilliant uses of OnBase in a collective 100 government departments, integrated with more than a dozen key data systems and offering more than 3,000 end users a better way to do their work.
So, today, we are calling this “OnBase glue,” the ability of a single platform to bind together departments and systems to support government staff as they face tight budgets and heavier workloads. Sit back and listen to the enterprise stories that prove that, with the right solution, you can meet IT trends and government realities and still come out with better government.
It just takes the right glue. …AKA the right platform.
