Know before you go: 6 tips to elevate your #CommunityLIVE experience

The wait is almost over! CommunityLIVE is just around the corner. Are you ready?

With more than 350 educational sessions and 2,000 peers to network with and learn from, there’s a lot going on. To help you prepare, here are six important things you need to know before you head out the door to Nashville.

Follow these tips and you’ll hit the ground running. Or hit the ground honky-tonking, if you’re inspired by our surroundings.

1. Downloadable agenda

For your convenience – and sanity – you can download a PDF version of the agenda before you even get there. I definitely recommend doing so in advance, so you can plan your strategy and get the most out of our best conference yet.

2. General session speakers 

Don’t you dare miss the general session speeches. Seriously, don’t do it.

Not only are you sure to catch valuable insights you can take back to the office with you, you’ll also find out where content services is headed and how you can harness these powerful tools to take your work or your organization to the next level.

3. Network, network, network

The best way to find out how to optimize your Hyland solution, or learn about content services, is to talk to other people who have walked in your shoes, dealt with your exact business issues, and overcome them. So don’t be afraid to pull up a chair during a meal or engage someone new during a refreshment break.

But, as you know, Hylanders like to have fun. We believe the best opportunities to network include music, delicious food, and an adult beverage or two. So swing by one of our awesome events and chat with anyone and everyone.

4. Get social

When you – or your mobile device – are low on juice, drop by the Tweet Suite located in CommunityCENTRAL. From 40-plus expert stations to Hylanders with deep technical knowledge at your disposal, CommunityCENTRAL is the hub of the conference.

Don’t worry, there will be cool-looking signs and display screens to help you get everywhere you need to go. You won’t be wandering for days, becoming dehydrated, and ending up at a loading dock. We promise.

We’ll also have space for you to relax, recharge, or get some work done. Because for most of us, even though we’re out of the office, we still need to get stuff done.

The official hashtag for the conference is #CommunityLIVE. We’re pretty sure you figured it out when you read the title, but it’s always nice to hear it officially, right? To help you get the most out of your social endeavors, we put together a social media tips and tricks cheat sheet.

5. CommunityFIT

Every morning, we’ll be starting the day off right with yoga or bootcamp classes, led by certified Hyland instructors. We want to share our company culture of wellness with the entire Hyland community. Based on the response, this is an aspect of CommunityLIVE that’s never going away, and will only get better.
