Why Hyland was named a “Best Channel Vendor” by partners, again

For the fifth time in six years, Hyland has been named a 2017 Best Channel Vendor for enterprise content management (ECM) software by Business Solutions magazine and its subscribers, which include Hyland channel partners.

As Vice President of Sales, one of my responsibilities is to manage our channel strategy. So I’m extremely proud of this achievement.

There are many reasons why Business Solutions named us to the list again, including:

With 400 global partners, we need to offer comprehensive support and training opportunities – including, but definitely not limited to, an intensive annual leadership summit, on-demand tailored education programs and regular training events.

Bill Kavanaugh

Bill Kavanaugh serves as vice president of sales at Hyland, creator of OnBase. In this role, Bill is responsible for Hyland’s direct and channel sales strategy, corporate alliance initiatives and building Hyland’s partner network. Bill joined Hyland in 2005 as a regional channel manager, supporting Hyland’s partners by providing insight and resources to help with sales and implementation strategies for OnBase. As director of Hyland’s U.S. channel, prior to becoming AVP, Bill grew partner channel sales by 80 percent. His dedication to building Hyland’s partner network while evangelizing the importance of channel sales gained recognition from CRN magazine. For three consecutive years, CRN has named him Channel Chief and one of the most powerful leaders within the IT channel. Prior to joining Hyland, Bill worked as a business development manager at Test.com identifying new business opportunities for its flexible training and testing platform. He graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a bachelor of science in communication and minor in business.
