The weekly recap: Feb 23

As Hyland continues to expand across the globe, add experts to our staff, and acquire companies and solutions that align with our innovative strategy, we face a unique challenge: How do we get important information to you when there’s so much to tell?

So, last year, we created The Hyland Blog (THB) as a way to communicate career advice and Hyland news as well as give our new solutions their own space. We know everyone is busy, so, every Friday, we’re going to give you a quick recap of THB, important corporate announcements, and a favorite thing going on this week. Meanwhile, this blog can continue to focus on OnBase and its solutions.

Here we go!

The Hyland Blog

With the ever-important HIMSS 2018 conference coming up, Mike Hurley talks about our simple, cost-effective solution that is available for prior authorization today – a secure, two-way workflow bridge between healthcare organizations.

Interoperability brings disparate systems together. The more you understand about those systems, the easier it will be to achieve an acceptable result.

Yes, we published this piece the week prior, but we’re pretty jazzed about it, so we included it anyway.

Hyland news

Again, more news from last week, but it’s another important announcement. Hyland signed a definitive agreement to acquire the OneContent business from Allscripts, a leading provider of healthcare information technology solutions.

We plan to continue to support OneContent customers’ current solutions while enhancing the platform with new features and functionality and refining the integration with Allscripts’ EHR system.

In January 2018, Hyland Healthcare hosted the first meeting of its newly formed enterprise medical imaging council as part of our annual gathering of healthcare industry advisory councils. The imaging council, comprised of imaging experts across the continuum of care, shares expert guidance and real-world scenarios with us.

We earned this designation for our exceptional recruiting initiatives and commitment to connecting service members, veterans, and spouses with meaningful careers.

My favorite thing this week

  • My Olympic Winter Games viewing experience this week was 10 hours of watching ice dancers warm up.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the first weekly recap. Have a great weekend everyone!
