The best of the best in Cleveland’s tech community

Employees walking and talking

Cleveland is a hub for technology innovation. This was reconfirmed last week during the culminating event of OHTec’s Tech Week, the 10th annual Best of Tech Awards. OHTec’s mission is to build awareness around Northeast Ohio’s booming technology industry, showcasing the forward-thinking companies, products and leaders in the area.

It doesn’t feel like that long ago we were attending the very first Best of Tech ceremony in 2007. It’s been great to continue our involvement with OHTec and see the event grow to the sold-out audience that was in attendance last week.

Cleveland rising

Gathering at Trinity Cathedral in Downtown Cleveland, Northeast Ohio’s tech community was on full display. The Best of Tech Awards ceremony provided an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones that are joining the ranks of Cleveland’s tech community. Regardless of the industries served, it’s safe to say that there are amazing software solutions making huge impacts on both our business and personal lives. This was evident by this year’s award finalists (see the full list here).

Hyland was awarded the 2016 Tech Company of the Year (large company) because of our dedication to our customers and our market-leading, single enterprise information platform. It was an honor to receive this recognition and to represent the company that enables our software product, OnBase, to be deployed in more than 15,000 organizations in 80 countries and 23 time zones.

But, we couldn’t reach any of these milestones without our great employees and the hard work they put in every day.

Thank you, everyone. Now, let’s get to work solving business problems and making sure Cleveland keeps climbing the list of best of tech in the world. We can do it!
