Happy CX Day – all week long!

Happy CX Day! In case you’ve never heard of it, CX Day is a global celebration of the people who create great experiences for their customers.

Of course, those of us who work at Hyland always like to take things to the next level. So our entire Customer Experience Team, along with CEO Bill Priemer and VP of Strategy Brenda Kirk, visited local customers to say thank you.

The only problem was busy customer schedules – the trip had to take place last week.

Not to worry! We decided that instead of just celebrating the customer experience on a single day (a worthy endeavor), we broadened it to celebrate our customers and show them our appreciation all week long. We “Hylandized” CX Day into Hyland Customer Appreciation Week.

We’ll be celebrating internally all week with fun activities like paper airplane contests. After all, what better way to commemorate almost a quarter century of helping our customers decrease their dependency on paper? Planes tossed off a second-story balcony will represent our customers and the top three distances covered will win prizes.

We’ll also create a handprinted mural symbolizing how every Hylander has a hand in delivering exceptional customer experiences, send handwritten thank you notes and enjoy customer-themed specials in our on-site diners. (Try the Johns Hopkins University Teriyaki Rice Bowl, it’s wonderful.)

As the video says, thank you! It’s been our pleasure.
