Forrester Research, Inc. names OnBase a Leader in transactional content management
As Hyland has grown into a sizable company (now at 1,900 employees and more than $300 million in annual revenue) our investments in enterprise applications for our internal operations have become more sizable too. In recent years, we have adopted new solutions for CRM, HCM and Financial Reporting.
So I understand well the importance of “choosing wisely” when it comes to making investments in platform technologies. It’s imperative for Hyland that we identify tools that will provide the capability we need today, along with a roadmap of advancement that will accommodate our growing and evolving organization, from a vendor that excels at supporting organizations like us. The problem is that in their sales pitches and marketing materials, vendors tend to sound the same in the claims that they make, and certainly don’t identify areas in which a competitive offering may be more suitable for us.
That’s why the assessments of respected third-party analysts like Forrester Research, Inc. can be so helpful, because they provide objective, comparative perspectives that supplement the opinions of our internal evaluation teams.
Bringing maximum value to your technology investments
We’re proud that Forrester named OnBase a Leader in transactional content management. The 26-criteria evaluation serves as a guide for enterprise architecture professionals looking for the right partner – a partner that will bring the most value for their investments.
As a Leader, we’re pleased that Forrester acknowledged OnBase as a low-code solution with strength in search and content sharing, speed of implementation, integration with core systems, and user experience with key business transactions. OnBase is duly recognized for helping businesses overcome common challenges: poor user adoption, difficult-to-maintain systems and over-budget projects.
Crucially, Forrester also evaluated each provider’s ability to help customers take advantage of emerging opportunities. In this regard, Forrester notes that OnBase provides a platform for businesses to use content analytics, open APIs, and mobile and cloud solutions to spur innovation and evolve with their respective markets.
We could debate the positioning of OnBase relative to the other competitors on the Wave. But we’ll save that for the discussion we hope to have with your organization about our single-minded focus on ECM, our well-earned reputation for outstanding customer support, and the tremendous advantages of managing content, processes and cases in a single, configurable platform.
